Elmo is sitting!

Elmo is sitting!
Cow says ... cow says moo!!
Owl says hoo hoo!!!

Xinyi now uses three word sentences, and it's adorable! She also spends a lot of time counting, reciting her a, b, c's and asking for the "Wheels on the Bus" song.

She also loves to repeat anything I say and everything she hears... so some great highlights have included...
"did it!" after I said, yay you did it!
"yay poo poo" after I said, good job, yay! you went poo poo!"
"a, b, c, d!" for the abc song she is obsessed with... :P

And I finally got some good pictures of baby with her Elmo hat, because for Halloween she was Elmo's biggest fan girl! Get ready for lots of pictures!

She really wanted my phone at this point in the picture taking... :)

We also had our last Gymboree class with our favorite teacher! We're moving up a level and we're so sad to leave Miss Andrea!

Baby girl now has enough hair for pig tails! Ahh!

We had a blast at Archie's birthday party!

Xinyi is saying to herself, "run, run, run!"

Grampy taught baby how to knock on pumpkins... here she is doing just that!

Family photo!

Here are some outtakes from baby's Halloween photo...

And a great one with daddy!

Baby girl wouldn't stay on the stairs without mommy, so mommy is sitting on the stairs with all the kiddos!

Nathan joined us for trick or treating! Yay!

While driving Xinyi around, I hear her saying "j, k, l, m, n, o, p" and "a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h" ... she still skips w and doesn't love q, but she does love the alphabet!

A few weeks ago, I guessed that she was trying to say plural words and I was right! Back then, she would say, "One ball sss" with a large pause between ball and s. Now she's started saying plural words by counting things. "One ball, two balls, three balls..." "One car, two cars, three, cars, four cars." A few days ago, she was counting the letters in her book and said, "one, two, three, four, five, six, twelve, twelve, eighteen, nineteen..." haha! I haven't even started teaching her past eleven, but she's heard me say the numbers at some point and I guess it stuck in her brain!

Here's our sweet girl in her panda outfit! So sweet! She loves to shout "cheese!" when she knows she's having a picture taken! And in the Adventures of Buttercup (nickname for the coming baby girl), mommy is now 17 weeks along and has a growing belly! Three more weeks until the official anatomy scan to confirm that this is indeed a girl! :D
