Forty eight weeks old!

Forty eight weeks old! Oh my!

Over the last few weeks, Xinyi has turned a huge mental corner, developing new skills at a rapid pace! Here are some of the new things she is doing!

  • Hands toys to us and then takes them back, and then hands them to us again, and so on and so forth.
  • Starting to stand without support - a few seconds here and there, mostly when dancing!
  • Learning to stack smaller boxes on bigger boxes,
  • Learning to turn wheels,
  • Putting a ball down a hole so it will roll down a ramp!
  • Clapping when she is proud of herself and wants people to clap for her,
  • Loves crawling after things that roll,
  • Laughs hysterically when daddy pours a cup of water with her rubber ducky in it during bathtime.
  • Then after one day, learned to put the ducky in the cup herself because she wanted it there!
  • Learned a new word: ball!

We love watching her learn and clap all the time with and for her!

So last week was a busy one! We went to see family for thanksgiving and had a blast! Here are some pictures:
Baby girl is being pet by her loving aunties, Grammy and cousins!

I love how excited Archie is in this one!

Then off to see more family! We should have taken more pictures!

The next day, we had second Thanksgiving at Grammy's house!

This first picture is so amazingly! Gemma kissing baby, and Archie stealing baby's toy!

Gemma thought Xinyi was just the best toy!

Archie and baby had a blast playing together too!

Baby and mommy!

On Saturday, Nai Nai watched Xinyi so mommy and daddy could watch a movie!

Baby had a blast and slept really well for her nap!

More play time!

Saturday afternoon we watched Grampy and his band, and then went to Baby Athena's 100 day celebration! She loved playing with the other babies! She played peekaboo with another baby the same age as her and then played peekaboo with herself in the selfie camera of daddy's iPad the next day!

Then we went to a lake on Sunday on our way back! Here is Xinyi practicing walking!

When we came home, we put up a little Christmas tree, complete with ornaments of baby's hand and foot prints!

We can't wait to celebrate Christmas with this little one!

Here baby is clapping because daddy came in the room!

And the she immediately got up and stood....

Oh yes, I forgot! She has learned how to climb on top of boxes.... We officially have a climber. :O. She's our little love bug and loves crawl get furiously across the room to give wet sloppy kisses! Love you baby girl!
