Forty four weeks coincided with Halloween!! What a fun, busy week!
First, at mommy and me, we had a mommy baby costume party! Here Xinyi is modeling as a sitting kangaroo with a pumpkin!
She's a little bit confused :)
But that's okay, mommy loves baby!
We also did a fun project making baby's footprint into a peek a boo ghost!
This picture cracks me up, Xinyi actually looks like a little crawling kangaroo!
Oh hello baby! A little too close to the camera :D.
Here's a whole group picture! So many mommies and babies! We love mommy and me!
Later, most babies took off their costumes and we had rug time, complete with parachute time...
She liked it okay enough... At least she doesn't cry anymore!
But decided that she wanted to read a book more than anything else :). She loves reading!
It was a very fun party, but a very chaotic party too. Sweet sleepy baby :).
At home, baby loves to eat messily. She is getting so good at eating by herself!
Then Saturday morning we drove down to San Diego. First to visit Uncle Ben, Auntie Christina and cousin Nathan! Here is daddy helping Xinyi walk around their apartment.
Cousins studying each other!
Daddy might have put his hat on Xinyi ....
And Xinyi might have hated it...
Even after the hat was gone... Look at that sad mouth!
It's okay, all happy again :).
Here is Nathan trying to play leap frog with Xinyi. Don't worry, Auntie Christina made sure he didn't! Also, Xinyi is eating Nathan's apple. She couldn't be happier!!
Later Saturday afternoon, we went to Grandpa Chuck and Grandma Peaches house for Archie's birthday party, and for trick or treating! Here are all the cousins together on the stairs :).
And the three cousins all dressed up. Little red riding hood, the big bad wolf, and.... the kangaroo :P.
The big bad wolf tried to take the kangaroo down! Or, as daddy put it, "the dingo ate my baby!"
Xinyi loves walking with help. We think she might walk before she turns one!
Sweet kangaroo! She has a baby kangaroo too!
All done with trick or treating, let's do a slam dunk!
This time around, Xinyi was enthralled with Gemma! Here she is trying out open mouth kiss Gemma on the cheek. Too cute!
On Sunday, we took some family pictures! Here's a pre photo shoot picture. Mommy loves how cute baby is in her dress!! Thanks Auntie Phoebe for the beautiful dress!
Once we got home, mommy detached the baby kangaroo from her Halloween costume and Xinyi now has a new friend!
I love this post. Also I'm so glad so many of Gemmas cute clothes are living on with the beauty of Clara. Ack I love her so much!!!!
