Thirty weeks old!
Thirty weeks! It can't be!
Baby girl is going places!!
She loves the freedom of crawling!
She also loves eating her mum mums :).
She's getting quite good at bringing food to her mouth, and actually eating it!
Here is baby hanging out in daddy's chair :).
Xinyi found daddy's hat,

Never mind, here she is!
So this week, Xinyi had a fever that went from 99 to 100 to 101.5 back down to 99. She was an unhappy girl. Now don't get me wrong, this picture wasn't from her fever days. This picture was from when her mum mum fell to the floor for the fiftieth time (because she dropped it for the fiftieth time) and she couldn't reach it and mommy didn't give it back fast enough. That face! And the little line down the middle of her face between her eyes!!
Anyways, Xinyi is conditioned to smile for mommy's cell phone! When we were out and about, I took my phone out to check the time and she gave me this gorgeous smile!
She also had fun hamming it up for the camera today!
Her feet never stop kicking!

Twenty nine weeks old!
Xinyi is twenty nine weeks old!
Three very fun events happened this week: 1) daddy shaved his beard and 2) baby is getting up on hands and kneeing and rocking and semi crawling with her belly off the ground, and 3) she's pushing up on objects and propping herself up! We gotta get on the baby proofing!! We did a lot of other fun stuff this week too ).
Our very happy Xinyi had a ton of fun at her very first (and most definitely not last) live outdoor concert. We listened to a fun live jazz band at Descanso Gardens on Thursday and baby loved it!

A lady came up to us afterwards and said we were such a cute little family and that sometimes they sit behind obnoxious people but we were such a joy to sit behind because we were so cute! I was so touched!
Xinyi is now also sleep trained which makes mommy very happy. She sleeps very cutely.

Twenty eight weeks old!
Xinyi is twenty eight weeks old! Or about six and a half months old :).
She had a very exciting week! First, Nai Nai came to visit and play with her!
Then mommy took her to Descanso Gardens to listen to live jazz! Or rather nap through the live music, but still she was there, it was in her dreams!
Then she had her first trip to a bar for Auntie Heather's birthday. We got kicked out early due to the curfew for minors, but we still had fun for the short time we were there :).
Xinyi is also falling asleep more easily in the car nowadays thanks to sleep training :). This was on our way home from playing with Auntie Lindsey, Uncle Dru, Gemma and Archie! Unfortunately we don't have any pictures from the play date :(.
Baby is strong enough to eat in her booster seat now! She loves it!!
Yes, she has yogurt all over her nose :).

Xinyi sat in a shopping cart by herself for the first time this week too! Yes, that's a shopping seat cover because baby puts her mouth on everything!
Last but not least, I think I have discovered the face Xinyi will make when she's about seven and I ask her to smile and she doesn't want to.
She still crawls and scoots everywhere she wants and she is getting fast! She'll be crawling too soon!
