Preschool Art! / Week 25

I found this little hat in a bundle of clothes from Archie and Gem... it's definitely a little boy's hat... but it fits Audrey just right! Here we are on a walk together :).

Clara's preschool sends us occasional pictures during the day. Here they are listening to Miss Cassie during story time. Clara loooves Miss Cassie. Yesterday, when I dropped her off at preschool, she ran through the gate to give Miss Cassie the biggest hug! I love knowing that she is loved and adored and for at preschool!

One morning, I found Audrey clinging tightly to this toy ... I thought it was her lovey. Nope, it was her toy that I had left overnight in the opposite corner of the crib. She somehow found it. Now her crib is empty... since she is a little houdini!

Clara is about to show Audrey how to play with the doll house! Clara is loving showing Audrey how to do things... they are so cute together!

At art class, we did a self portrait of Clara and Audrey... it's... very artistic :).

Audrey is still learning how to roll from belly to back, but she is a master at back to belly!

So yesterday, at preschool drop off, I spent an extra minute in her class making sure she had enough supplies before I left and realized there was a file with Clara's name on it... I had never noticed it before. It was full of her art work and flyers... whoops...

And since Audrey is a pretty good napper now, mommy spent about an hour planting some flowers in the front yard!

Later, when Clara was back, she asked me to put Audrey in the car with her and take a picture!

25 sweet weeks with this one!!

Birthday Fun / Week 24

It's been a sweet week celebrating my birthday! First, an adorable picture of our Clara in her school outfit!

And sweet Audrey sleeping soundly!

Clara wanted to borrow mommy's sunglasses!

Daddy also got her a soccer net (you can see it behind her).. I think daddy got it for himself actually :).

Clara got some farm animals... she told me that they are "taking turns"... she is learning great skills at school! We are so proud!

This week, Clara and Audrey are starting to interact more and more, or at least interact on a parralel basis. Clara decided to sit herself here under Audrey's swing... while it was swinging! Haha!

Audrey loooves to stand. She wants to be just like her jie jie (big sister)!

On Saturday, Shane and I waited in line for 1.5 hours to eat this fish-free ramen! It was good, but... not good enough for that long of a wait. But I still felt very loved by Shane that he would wait with me so I could eat something I have been craving for many months!

On Sunday, daddy made me some yummy Japenese souffle pancakes and katsu! Then at night, we had dinner at Buca di Beppo! So fun!

The next day, we all woke up and I put the girls down to play and they just played! So cute!

Clara put her own little chair right in front of Audrey and started laughing ... and Audrey laughed back!! She did it several times and every time, Audrey would laugh! She looves Clara!

Then a little bit later, I put Audrey in the pack and play so Clara and I could play hide and seek. A few times, I overheard Clara running to the pack and play to say, "Audrey, where is my mommy???" And then I'd pop out and she'd hug me and squeal and run back to the pack and play to tell Audrey, "I found her!!!!" They just oooh make my heart explode with happiness!

Ooh look a tag! Our girls are growing up! Clara has now mastered preschool drop off and walks herself right in to play! Audrey has mastered the back to belly roll and squealing loudly to express her pleasure or displeasure! Too much fun!
