A, B, C's!

As always, we started the week off at Gymboree!

She loves rocking the boat!

Xinyi also has been asking to do things by herself. Like eating out of a bowl with her own spoon and eating a peach like a big girl!

On Thursday, yeh yeh and Nai Nai came to visit! They got some selfies in!

And momma always has time for selfies with baby. 

Here is baby being adorable and clingy. 

On Saturday, we went to the children's museum with auntie Lindsey and uncle Dru!

Baby girl crawled through a huge bounce house filled with bigger kids! So brave!

We also got to see tai yeh yeh and tai Nai Nai. 

We took a quick trip to the aquarium too. For the first time, baby sat in the big room watching the ocean for about 15 minutes! Before she always ran up to the glass and moved on within 30 seconds!

She's saying hi to the fish. :). 

And yesterday, great grandpa chuck and peaches came to visit! I wish I had a picture of Xinyi with them too! But they graciously took this picture for us. 

Right now, baby is obsessed with the alphabet. She knows all her letters, a through z. And she can say the majority of them too! She's always very enthusiastic. I think c is her favorite letter!

Jibberish and baby dancing!

We started off the week nice and quiet, at home enjoying life. 

We had dinner with yeh yeh and Nai Nai the next day. This was the face Xinyi made when we said its time to put the iPod away. What a face!

On Saturday, we went to watch Grampy's band play! First we explored the playground. 

Baby girl is apparently not afraid of heights or tall slides!

She had a blast exploring and playing with Archie and Gemma. 

And auntie too!

The three kids egged each other on. Falling out of chairs, dancing, and pointing to Grampy for all to see. 

This was a rare moment where they all sat still together!

And now, our week's collection of silly pictures. 

Xinyi is trying really hard to talk. She spends all day talking jibberish to me and to herself. Sometimes it's happy jibberish, sometimes it's unhappy why-dos-you-turn-off-baby-tv jibberish, and other times just squeals of joy. No matter what she's saying though, she is hilarious and we love her so!!

We started the week off with Gymboree of course! 

Every time, Xinyi is more and more confident.

I love her tentativeness (is that a word?)! She is always so careful about steps.

That night, we had yummy noodles for dinner. Baby girl, of course, wanted some.

It was a challenge, but she was successful!

Mmmmmm! 

Then for dessert, daddy gave Xinyi a chocolate covered pretzel... which turned her in to a chocolate covered little girl!

"Do I have something on my face?"

Here's a different day, just as happy with some regular food!

Xinyi is settling quite nicely into our new home. Here she is just lounging... on her belly... :)

And on Saturday, Daddy, Uncle Dru and Grampy built a playset for Xinyi and her cousins!

She loves it so much!

There she is - 6+ hours of loving manual labor! Good job!

They also built a table and chairs for the babies :).

Xinyi finally let me put her hair in a ponytail!

I had to bribe her with letting her brush her teeth. She is obsessed with brushing her teeth.

So cute!

Baby girl also started eating apples like a big girl!

She actually made it through a lot more than I imagined she would!

Things are finally settling down, unpacking is 80% done, and Xinyi seems to know this is our new home. She's sleeping well and playing hard... and we are loving it too :).
