Athena and the beach!

Hi everyone!

This week, I spent some good time rolling around on the ground. 

Just for fun, you know?

I played with some new toys at mommy and me. 

And smiled when mommy asked me to eat some broccoli!

I pretended to try it. But yeh yeh actually ate it for me. 

I hung out with daddy, who had a hard week at work. 

And I cuddled with momma. 

Daddy and I watched some baby tv while holding hands. 

And I got to see Athena!

We had fun together :). 

On Sunday we took an impromptu trip to the beach!

Daddy was happy!

I think I was too. My face looks confused through. 

Then mommy took a bunch of silly face pictures of me. 

And her. 

We watched another puppet show. 

And that's about it!

Fairy princess Clara says hello!

This week included lots of playtime with cousin Nathan!

A puppet show at the library,

Complete with marionettes!

We went to Gymboree twice this week too :). 

Then on Sunday, we celebrated Nathan's third birthday!!! Yay!

Back to Gymboree music class where Clara opened up and did a little shoulder dance!

Time to push the drum with her little baby buddy. 

And run through a tunnel!

Gotta take some selfies too. 

Xinyi is learning so much every day. She knows a ton of letters by sight and sound. She's a tiny imitater and loves to try to do big people things, like putting on her shoes! She still loves music and dancing and reading every day.

Cute Cousins and Viking Fun!

First we start with a throwback to January when baby had no hair! Augh so cute!

Xinyi still loves Gymboree class every week, and this week she kept asking for a picture while pretend driving! It's probably because I've taken a picture of her driving every week.... but it's because she's so happy when she's driving!

Mommy had a little too much fun with stickers...

On Thursday, we saw Auntie Cat and we tried out some fashion glasses on baby!

Then later that day, we got to see all of baby's cousins and second cousins (minus Ozzie) on daddy's side!

The older grls just adored each other and wanted to hold Xinyi!

Poor baby got tired out,

and laid down on a chair...

but wait, we can't leave without a stair picture!

Friday morning we went to story time and Xinyi spent the entire first half on my lap, refusing to move and join the kids on the carpet. Then the librarian took out a book on butterflies, and poof, she hopped off, trudged through several children, and started pointing at the book and babbling!

Thankfully the other kids and moms didn't mind...

On Saturday we celebrated Tai Yeh Yeh's 90th birthday! Wow!

And then the rest of time we've been fulfilling Shane's dream of becoming a Viking family :).
