First Toothie! / Week 33

Audrey's first toothie has popped! The bottom right toothie has crossed the gum line and she is fussy and droolier than ever! Ahh but there's a tooth!

And Clara has come up with some wonderful sentences this week. Here are my favorites:

"Your hair is so beautiful! And my hair is so beautiful!!"
"Ooh this is a very special book! Who wants to read it to me? Daddy?"

While on a walk around our neighbhorhood we heard a baby cry. She says:
"What is the baby crying about?
Does he want to talk about it?
He’s in the door!
I’ll go and knock."
When answering questions, Clara likes to pause and say, "Hmm, actually..."


We had a great playdate at the park where Clara asked me to ride down the slide with her :).

Then we bought a little journal that Clara "reads" from even though it's empty.

And Audrey loves to ride on the Plasma Car in the backyard :). Always selfies with mama!

Every morning, Clara asks to go "sleep in Audrey's crib" where the two of them proceed to laugh and giggle at each other for 5-10 minutes <3.

And even though I had offered for Clara to wear her tutu dress to match Audrey, it wasn't until I came out and started taking pictures of Audrey that Clara asked to wear her tutu dress! So silly!

Clara wanted to hold Audrey like mommy holds Audrey :D.

Saturday Zoo Day / Week 32

We had a fun week! Cookie decorating, share day, zoo trip, and 

Miss Julie invited Clara over for cookie decorating with Eli and Jude! She had such a blast!

 Of course, she only wanted to eat the cookie where there was no frosting... because it's Clara.

Audrey has found sister's box of figurines. She likes Miss Elena!

Here is Clara on share day at school! She brought her pinwheel to share with her friends at school :).

Mommy took out an old beanie from when Clara was a baby and put it on Audrey! Such a cutie!

Clara has decided this week that Audrey is just the best thing ever. She has given her hugs and kisses all week long, saying, "I love you sister!" all the time! 

 She does it often and without prompting!

We had to put Audrey in the Star Trek onesie we have before she grows out of it!

On Saturday, we spent 4 hours at the zoo with our friends!

Audrey is getting much better with her pincer grasp! Almost half of what I put on her tray makes it to her mouth now!!

The other half ends up on her bib. Just kidding :D.

Audrey has also discovered that mommy puts all her toys in this basket. Whenever I put her down, she rolls and scoots until she can tip the basket over and play with all her toys!

We've been spending lots of time at the park! Now Audrey can swing with Clara! Or is it Clara swinging with Audrey :).

The sunset was beaaautiful the other day and I caught this silhouette picture :).

Ahh this sweet girl! Love her so!
