It's been a week of summer time fun over here with the girls :).
Clara and I started the week off with smoothies!
This is her saying "cheese" - it's hard to get her to look at the camera now a days!
This is a screenshot of Clara reading a book to herself! She has learned some more books by heart, and the books she doesn't know by heart, she is now narrating to herself by simply saying what is on the pages! It is so cute to watch and her memory is so astounding!
Audrey is getting better and better at grasping and holding on to hanging toys!
And getting better at smiling for cameras too!
Tummy time is still not her favorite, but she is holding her head and upper body up for longer and longer periods before getting upset!
On Thursday, we went on a movie play date with Miss Julie and her boys. Clara spent a good amount of the movie lounging around and trying to climb out of the seat. Audrey did pretty well, sleeping for half, and then cooing and looking at mommy for the other half.

Over the weekend, we had a fun lunch out with Grammy and Grampy! But first we had to wait, and daddy and Clara held hands <3.

Clara has been getting a little more stir crazy lately, so we took a trip to Ikea! She ate a lot of snacks and spread them all over her brand new "cute-a-saurus" shirt... :T
And yesterday, to stave off the antsy-ness that Clara has been exhibiting, we took a preemptive trip to the Aquarium!
Nai Nai joined us for a little bit too!

Audrey took a wonderful 1.5 hour nap on mommy, and this is what happened when I put her in the car seat.
She looked like this for a good five minutes, even after I turned the car on and started driving.
So cute!
At home, mommy and Clara spent some time reading some books together. One of them has some Bubble Guppy stickers. She decided that she needed them on her face!
She wanted them on her head, and on her cheeks!
17 weeks!
This week, Clara has really started speaking in some wonderful full sentences! She is learning how to use plurals and jumped off a small ledge with both feet without holding anyone's hands! Her new favorite movie is Trolls and her favorite quote is "No Troll left behind!!!" We heard her screaming that for a few minutes after we put her to bed :).
Audrey is a sweet smiley girl as always, but also very strong willed and wants to have her own way all the time! And her own way usually means wanting to face outwards, looking at the world, and being held by mommy... Fortunately, Clara still thinks Audrey is pretty cool! And so do we :).
