Dance Class & Shopping Cart Shenanigans / Week 49

Clara Beara was hilarious last week at our Wednesday play date. She decided that she would take ownership of other kids' snack jars and toys. This is Autumn and her snack jar, and the toy? It's someone else not even from our play group at all!

At one point, Clara hand fed Autumn Autumn's own snack from her own snack jar! So funny!

But thankfully, Autumn and her mama are very kind and sharing.

Hi baby!

She's pretty into making messes right now :).

This week, we made some huge big girl changes! Big girl pajamas and big girl bed!

And she moved up to a new class, the 3-4 year old class! There's her friend Mirae, and Mirae's little sister, Mirielle. Between Mirae, Clara, Mirielle and Audrey, we have the ages 4, 3, 2, and almost 1!

I put a huge headband (my favorite) on Audrey for sibling picture day at school!

She's a little troublemaker in the making! While I was putting away Clara's clothes, Audrey found the wipes and pulled a bunch out to put in Clara's potty!

Clara and Audrey love to be in the same crib together to play!

Sometimes, Clara amazes me with her self play skills. This was on Monday I think, and we had just spent about 15 minutes reading books together. Then I went to the kitchen to get some food prep done (since Audrey was napping) and I asked Clara to choose something to play with. I came back to check on her and she had pulled out her legos and set them up so her Lego people could slide. When she was all done with this, she put all the Legos away in that bag, and then picked something else, played with it, and then put all those away too! Sometimes she more than amazes me!

On the other hand, Audrey amazes me too! I'm starting to learn that Audrey's personality is strong, willful, and very tiao pi (mischievious). Maybe it's because Clara didn't have a big sister/brother to teach her new and fun ways, but Clara never once tried to turn herself around in the shopping cart. She is strapped in the cart, and she still turned herself around to find snacks!

So wiggly!

Shane has both girls and couldn't let go of Clara's hand... so there goes Audrey...

Ahh Clara in her ballerina outfit! She loves dance class!

Haha, she has her hand down her tutu! Shane says she pulled her tutu up and down from her waist to her neck over and over during one part of class. So silly!

More shenanigans in the crib! See Clara's feet?

Audrey riding a toy train!

Clara sleeping in her big girl bed! She even pee peed in the potty I left in her room one night!

Grandparents day! Grammy and Pa in the morning.

Nai Nai and Yeh Yeh at night!

Our neighbor got a tortoise!

Daddy bought Clara a pretty dress at Costco. She was so excited, she spent the rest of the day in that dress. Here she is watching Tangled!

Oh here, Audrey is diving for her shoes, because she really still wanted them. Even though mommy didn't want her to have them. She turned herself around after making a sad angry face when I took the shoes off. This was hilarious to me because Clara cried the first time I put shoes on her and Audrey cried the first time I took them off of her!

I took out Clara's kid chopsticks today and she was soo excited! She's eating clementines with them.

Cuddle time!

And apple time!

This little is so much more adventurous than Clara was during picture time! It’s so hard to get one of her smiling! At the camera!

Love you sweet girl!

The Tortoise, the Ballerina, and the Doll / Week 48

It's been a hard start of a week, as mommy's best mom friend and Clara's little bestie moved away! We had a great last outing at Target though, and will see them soon for a visit hopefully! Our last and only picture of all four kids together!

Super mom with stroller and cart!

Sharing popcorn.

While Clara was napping, Audrey finally got her hands on Clara's potty dolls! Oh yes, this is how we potty trained her, by having her earn Disney Princess dolls. She has done really well and is even telling lovey that she pees on the potty. Literally, she said to her Lovey: "Lovey! I pee peed on the potty!"

The other day, I was cutting broccoli for dinner and she said, I want some! I asked her if I could cut it up for her and she said no. So there she went.

Audrey rocking a piece of muffin during our preschool grocery shopping trip. With her foot up. If you look back at the first picture, she's putting her foot up in that picture too :).

Tiny destructo....

Even the cat is afraid :).

Clara napping at the park. She chased a kite with her friend for about 20 minutes and then was exhausted.

Also, look at this giant tortoise. I don't know what his name is, but Clara asked me what his name was, so I named him Henry. She calls him "Penery"

She was a little bit afraid of him, but the other neighborhood kids weren't!

Henry even went to visit the fake tortoise. :D

Ozzie's birthday party!

Go Audrey!

Cuties!

In a doll stroller :). She fits!

Grammy and Grampy bought shoes and a tutu (and a leotard and tights, not pictured) for Clara's imminent dance class! She is so excited and so are we!

We saw a baby lizard who wasn't afraid of us on our daily walk yesterday. Clara loves to see lizards!

Audrey's favorite thing to do right now is say her words, "bup" "guk" "duck" and "wawa" -- mostly bup. So now we call her bup. Happy 48th week bup :).

Audrey 11 months!

It's the month of pre-words! Audrey is learning some words and expanding the noises she can make! She's moved on from "at" for cat to "ack" for cat. She says "bup" for up, and duck is actually pretty much duck! She also said "wawa" for water! and "guk" for milk.

She loves putting her fingers in holes and exploring textures, as seen in the picture below. She is digging her finter into the unicorn's nostril. She is pleasant and easy going, and loud and demanding, all depending on her mood! She eats everything most of the time, and other times unceremoniously pushes food back out of her mouth and lets it fall into her bib.

She still loves Clara most and finds everything she does hilarious. I often drive the two of them around listening to the sounds of them giggling at each other. It's pretty much the cutest!

She still loves to move during her photo shoots!

And every once in a while I can catch this amazing smile!

Only one more month until you are one! How can that be!?
